I guess Illinois finally decided to catch up with the date on Calendar and spring may have just officially sprung.
I’m so excited to finally get to wear Norts to class this week along with my first letters. Not even some spring thunderstorms and tornado threats can take away my excitement for 70 degree weather.
(And with my re-commitment back to running, this will be perfect to run in on the trail. Rain runs are seriously so fun. I can’t wait.)

I had a crazy shooting schedule, Non-stop for a whole week. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. From Dawn to Dusk… I found myself, laying on the floor, on a scissor lift 35ft up, inside an f-16 engine, starring into the eyes of an A-10 Aircraft and climbing in and out of a C-130… I can’t believe they pay me to do this stuff.

These are fantastic photos of the Air National Guard Base in Peoria, IL. Great to get an inside look at the day-to-day of our local airmen.
Currently reading. I’m a non-fiction nerd, and being born and bred in the Land of Lincoln, I have always been intrigued and fascinated by him more than any other president. This book is about Lincoln and how his depression manifested itself through his life. I stayed up till 2 reading it, and can’t wait to spend the afternoon on the brown line doing more of the same.

World/Nationality Challenge Day 17 - Post a picture of a famous landmark you love.
This is the Dana-Thomas House, located a couple doors down from where I work. It’s a Frank Lloyd Wright building. Unfortunately, I have the worst timing ever and have yet to get a proper full historical tour, although I did get to quickly walk through it when it was decorated for Christmas one year.
